Are you involved in any way in the turnaround or insolvency industry? If so, the Turnaround Management Association of West Michigan wants to invite you to network with industry peers to close 2018. Get your pre-turkey mingle on at this event, while you make new business connections!

In the spirit of charity and giving, TMA West Michigan has invited Julie Liske with Circles Grand Rapids to share about what this non-profit is doing to systematically eliminate poverty in our area. We would encourage you to consider how you can help. Cash and credit card donations will be accepted, with TMA WM matching your gifts (up to a pre-determined amount).  

About Circles Grand Rapids
"Circles Grand Rapids is a long-term approach to end poverty permanently in our community. Each week, local families working to overcome poverty meet with community volunteers over dinner. Following the meal, pairs work to achieve specific personal goals toward self-reliance. Over time, incomes and savings improve, debt and public assistance decrease and supportive social networks are built. 

While parents receive tools to help manage money and time, improve career skills and progress toward goals, children enjoy programming including: interactive/age-appropriate sessions on financial literacy, emotional health, mindfulness, service, compassion, volunteerism and much more."
